Gigging for a Living (Book)
Gigging for a Living contains interviews with 15 independent working musicians that get to the heart of what it is like to make music for a living when you are not (or not yet) an MTV poster-child.
This book is for
. . .working musicians looking for perspective on a career choice that is often exhausting, confusing, frustrating, and rewarding (all in the same day). Learn how other musicians deal with these issues and find some balance in their lives.
. . .aspiring musicians who want to know what it’s really like and what lies ahead. Learn from the mistakes and successes of musicians out there in the trenches. Are you musically, emotionally, and financially prepared?
. . .friends, fans, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives, siblings, mothers, and fathers of musicians trying to understand what makes their favorite musician tick. This is an unprecedented opportunity to get a glimpse inside the tight-knit community of independent working musicians.

Sing Along With Sam (CD)
This is the new album from my kid's music duo, Hullabaloo. Here's what the good people at CDBaby had to say about it. "Described as, "Farm-fresh, organic, free-range kid folk," Hullabaloo wraps up fun, catchy country and folk rock for kids with the perfect balance of silliness and fun with solid songwriting and quality music. It can be difficult to find music for kids and families that is light, fun and catchy while also being encouraging, educational and intelligent at the same time. But "Sing Along With Sam" accomplishes this with flying colors and then some, keeping interest from start to finish. Any fan of Dan Zanes should make note of this award-bound album."
Hullabaloo One (CD)
I originally made this album as a Christmas gift for my nieces, nephew, and godchildren and called it Hullabaloo! Pretty soon word spread and it was a hit with the younger set. This was long before I tricked my friend Brendan into joining the band so it's just me singing and playing 18 children's songs with just my guitar for accompaniment. There are no purple dinosaurs, goofy, dancing Australian men, no cute fuzzy animals whatsoever-- just the good old songs we all grew up with (but can never seem to remember all the words to).
Hullabaloo Two (CD)
This is the follow-up to Hullabaloo One. Once Brendan and I started playing kids music together on a regular basis we decided to record an album the represented the new sound. This time around there are 17 songs recorded with guitar, voices, and Brendan playing percussion.
