I Remember Every Minute

Havasu City has just about doubled in size since I was a kid but it’s still got that small town feel—complete with a full cast of characters and all the gossip they create. For the most part I do my best to stay out of it but a few weeks ago, I heard the news that would turn my life upside down.

Arleen was coming home.

I hadn’t seen Arleen or even spoken to her since we broke up during her junior year at San Diego State. This news of her coming home got my head spinning with all the old memories and whole batch of new possibilities. I’ve dated a handful of girls since Arleen but it never has been the same.
