A Big thanks to everyone that came out to the San Diego Botanical Gardens Family Fun Night Concert. It was a great crowd and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting on a hot summer night. The big surprise of the evening was RAIN!! We sang the Itsy Bitsy Spider and then down came the rain. We sang in the rain right up to the point where we started to worry about getting shocked. Aside from getting a little soaked, it was a great night. We're excited to return on August 26!! I posted some pictures here on the website and on our facebook page.

I got a couple of requests this week from parents that want to create their own family Hullabaloo sing-along. They requested the guitar chords for some of our songs. I typed up all the lyrics and chords for the Tall as a Tree album and posted them on the media section of our website. To get there just click the "media" button to the right and download the Word file.  Enjoy!!

I played at a great birthday party this weekend in Dana Point. The party was for a 6 year old boy and the theme was "Superheroes." My favorite part was the craft they had set up where each kid got to make their own superhero cape. They used colorful pieces of cloth for the cape and decorated it with stick-on stars and letters spelling their names. To top it off they also had paper masks they decorated in the same way. It made me especially glad that I had written Supersuit!

I just got back from a quick trip to DC and a show at Jammin' Java. The crowd wasn't quite as big as the last time we were there but they were fun and enthusiastic. It was amazing to fly across the country to play and have people in the audience that knew our songs. Very cool!

Even in this crazy economy, the libraries have found a way to offer lots and lots of fun, free programs for kids. Here's where I'll be singing. . .
